Throughout a noteworthy career in the financial services industry spanning more than 30 years, Lisa has established herself as a knowledgeable guide for family offices, multigenerational families, and high‑net‑worth clients. Getting to the heart of what clients find meaningful is her passion. She works devotedly to facilitate the often‑challenging family conversations around inheritance, estate planning, and financial education, striving for a deeper level of harmony and clarity.
Lisa discovered early in her career that the greatest gift she could give to her friends, family, community, and clients is preparing the next generation to be responsible stewards of wealth. Education has become a cornerstone of her mission. To support this purpose, she co‑authored a preschool children’s book, “Treasures in the Winter Vault,” designed to teach young kids about money, values, doing the right thing, and giving back.
Her commitment to financial literacy extends across all age groups. She develops and delivers age‑specific education workshops for
- Young adults preparing for financial independence,
- Middle school students begin to understand money choices, and
- Elementary students learn early foundations of saving and giving.
In addition, she hosts large‑scale Financial Literacy events, including concerts, community programs, and Read Across America celebrations recognizing Dr. Seuss’s birthday. She also created the “Money Smarts” financial literacy series, offering engaging webinars, videos, in‑person sessions, and interactive programs tailored to kids, teens, and young adults. Her sincere hope is to help children in our communities build confidence, awareness, and lifelong financial capability, carrying forward the values of the patriarchs and matriarchs who created the family wealth.
During her tenure at the helm of the Global Wealth Solutions Group of Raymond James, which has more than $2.21 billion* under management, Lisa has earned the Private Wealth Advisor designation from Raymond James. This designation reflects her experience in managing the financial concerns of families, individuals, and organizations of significant wealth, as well as her mastery of the methods and resources needed to support and anticipate their complex financial needs. She has also earned several industry accolades. In 2024, she was inducted into the Barron’s Hall of Fame, named to the Forbes Best‑in‑State Wealth Advisors, and honored on the Barron’s Top 100 Financial Advisors list, recognitions that shine a spotlight on the nation’s leading wealth managers and raise standards across the industry. She is particularly proud of her Top Women Financial Advisor recognition. Lisa is also a founding partner of DH Consulting Group of Raymond James.
Before joining Raymond James in 2011, she served in senior vice president roles at Wedbush, Citi Smith Barney, Morgan Stanley, and Imperial Capital (formerly Dabney/Resnick), and began her career in Drexel Burnham Lambert’s capital markets group. Her educational background includes an MBA from Pepperdine University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology with business emphasis from UCLA, where she also earned a professional financial planning designation. She is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® and a Wealth Management Specialist. Lisa has written and lectured on a range of financial topics and has been interviewed by CNBC, ABC, NBC, and various Los Angeles–area radio and television stations. In April 2021, she hosted a Barron’s in Education interactive session at UCLA.
An early pioneer of the open‑architecture approach to financial planning and investing, an approach that emphasizes objectivity, she integrates multiple disciplines into her comprehensive strategies. These include personal financial planning and cash‑flow modeling, investment management, insurance planning, estate and gift planning, philanthropy, tax planning, risk management services, family governance, and family office services. She views her clients’ foundations and endowments as extensions of their families and treats them with the same care, intention, and expertise.
