His thoughtful approach stems from his formative experiences in the industry amid the dot-com bust.
Ariel prioritizes his clients’ financial well-being by asking the right questions and listening to what they find most important and meaningful to build personalized strategies around their aspirations. This often involves goals-based investment management, lending, retirement plans and estate planning. Once all the details are pulled together into a plan, clients are free to focus their time and energy on what matters most to them.
Possessing a command of three languages, Ariel spent several years honing his skills in international trade before starting his financial services career in 2001 at Paine Webber, which soon became UBS Financial Services. He joined Merrill Lynch in 2008, where he spent a decade as a financial advisor. In 2019 he joined Raymond James, drawn by its client-first ethos and its values of independence and integrity.
Ariel is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he earned a B.A. in political science and international relations and studied abroad at Rothberg International School at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel. A California native, Ariel lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Shanna, and their children, Eli, Baila, Shuey, Yoel and Rachie. Along with spending time with his family, he enjoys listening to live music, skiing and experiencing the Los Angeles sports scene.
